Areeba Iqbal, PE has work experience in various roles and companies. In 2018, they worked as a Geotechnical Engineer at Hardesty & Hanover, LLC. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they served as a Capital Engineering Intern at Metro-North Railroad. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Construction Field Inspector at NYSDOT. Additionally, in 2015 and 2016, they worked as a Peer Advisor at City University of New York.

Areeba Iqbal, PE completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College in 2018. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Geotechnical Engineering from New York University and completed it in 2020. Areeba also holds additional certifications such as NICET Geotechnical Engineering (Generalist/ Construction/ Laboratory/ Exploration) obtained in November 2015, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1, and they are a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) accredited by the New York State Education Department.
