Amanda Ruyack, PE has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2013, they worked as a Website Designer for Anne Koplik Designs, where they were responsible for maintaining and updating the company's wholesale website using HTML. Amanda also developed a product website for retail purposes using HTML. In 2015, Amanda worked as an Intern for Bibbo Associates, conducting site inspections, performing percolation tests, and applying for construction permits. Amanda also used HydroCAD to create Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans. The following year, in 2016, they interned at The Di Salvo Engineering Group, where they were responsible for designing residential renovations to a building in New York City. Amanda designed various structural components and attended meetings throughout the design phase of several projects. In 2017, Amanda worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Villanova University, conducting research on the behavior of reinforced concrete beams under long-term loading conditions. Amanda'sresearch focused on the movement of the neutral axis at a cracked cross-section and factors impacting long-term deflections. Finally, in 2018, they joined Hardesty & Hanover, LLC as a Structural Engineer, with an ongoing role in the company.

Amanda Ruyack, PE has a strong educational background in civil engineering. Amanda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University, which they completed from 2013 to 2017. In 2017, they furthered their education to earn a Master of Science (MS) in Civil Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies in 2018. Prior to their tertiary education, they attended Brewster High School from 2009 to 2013. Amanda Ruyack has also obtained the certification of Engineer In Training in August 2017.
