Russ DeGeorge is a seasoned transportation professional with extensive experience in the logistics industry. Currently serving as Transportation Manager at Red Giant Oil Inc since January 2017, Russ oversees rail fueling and oil distribution operations, collaborating with major railroads such as Union Pacific and BNSF. Prior to this role, Russ worked as Customer Service Manager at Hill Brothers Logistics from April 2012 to December 2016, managing account representation for notable clients including Tyson and John Morrill while efficiently handling up to 400 loads weekly. Additionally, Russ spent over a decade at CEVA Logistics, culminating in the role of Contract-Transportation Manager, where involvement in multiple contract renewals with railroads further enhanced expertise in transportation logistics. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a degree in Applied Science in Ophthalmic Technology from Metro Community College Omaha.
