Mark Stanfield has a diverse work experience in the field of design, with a focus on user experience and interaction design. Mark started their career as an Interactive Designer at LINE Communications in 2006 and worked there until 2010. During this time, they also worked as an Instructional Designer at the Department for Education, where they focused on user experience and collaborated with various creative team members. From 2011 to 2012, Mark worked as an Interactive Designer at LINE Communications again, before joining The Group as a Design Manager for a short period in 2012.
In 2013, Mark joined Expedia Group as a Creative Designer UX, where they provided end-to-end design coverage and worked on various design aspects. Mark later took on the role of Product Designer - Apps and Senior Product Designer - Apps, focusing on UX, Interaction Design, Visual Design, and Research. Mark remained with Expedia Group until 2021.
After leaving Expedia Group, Mark worked at Afterpay as a Design member of the Money by Afterpay team from 2021 to 2022. Mark Stanfield completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Newcastle from 1991 to 1994. Later, they pursued a degree in Multimedia with a focus on Visual Communication Design at Griffith University from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, Mark obtained a certification in Human-Computer Interaction from Coursera, although specific details about the time of completion are not provided.
