Liam Garrison is the Co-Founder & CTO at Heygo, a startup that provides a platform for businesses to manage their vehicles and drivers. Prior to Heygo, Garrison was a Full Stack Developer at Medicspot from September 2019 to October 2020. While at Medicspot, Garrison implemented a prescription service for Irish patients, oversaw and implemented API integration with an at-home UTI testing service, and designed and built a custom decision tree algorithm for auto-triaging patients. Garrison also became highly skilled with React, API microservice design (Node.js/Express), PostgreSQL, and WebRTC.
Before Medicspot, Garrison worked as a Software Engineer at Weekly10 | Effective Employee Engagement from August 2019 to September 2019. At Weekly10, Garrison built an iOS and Android app for employee engagement from scratch with React Native. Garrison also collaborated directly with the founder/CEO, transforming high-level product specs into final Figma designs and detailed product roadmap in Jira, which they then implemented himself.
Garrison's first foray into entrepreneurship was PictureVan, a startup they founded in March 2018 and ran until August 2019.
Liam Garrison has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and has taken courses in computer programming at Le Wagon and Bournemouth School.
Liam Garrison reports to John Tertan, Co-Founder. They work with Christian MacNamara - Head of Creators and Community, Michael Ostromooukhov - Performance Marketing Lead, and James Ansell - Head of Finance. and Chris Moorst - Lead Frontend Engineer reports to Liam Garrison.
