Felix Simatupang has extensive work experience in various companies. Felix started their career in PT Asuransi Sinar Mas in 2005 as a Trainee in the Supervisor Development Program and was later promoted to Representative Office Head of Pangkalpinang in August 2005. Felix worked at PT Asuransi Sinar Mas until July 2010. After that, Felix joined Mandiri Tunas Finance as a Branch Manager, where they were responsible for automotive financing for private or commercial/fleet business. Felix worked at Mandiri Tunas Finance from August 2010 to August 2015. Currently, Felix is working at Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk, where they started in August 2015 as a Branch Head and later moved to the General Sales Support Division in November 2020.

Felix Simatupang completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended SMA Negeri 1 Medan from 1992 to 1995, where they studied Physics in high school. Furthermore, Felix has obtained additional certifications including the Global Leadership Acceleration Program from Hitachi University in February 2021, Sales Management Excellence - MSSP from Hitachi Construction Machinery Asia Pacific (HMAP) in August 2019, and New Selling Essential - MSSP from HMAP in November 2018.
