Håkan Bäckström is the current President of Hexatronic Cables & Interconnect Systems. Prior to this, they served as Sales & Marketing Director for Neova AB from August 2004 to August 2006. From August 2006 to November 2013, they were the Head of Ericsson Supply Site - Hudiksvall. Before that, they were the Sales and Marketing Manager for Fiber Optic Networks at Ericsson from May 1997 to August 2004. Håkan began their career as a Trainee & Product Specialist at Volvo Construction Equipment from May 1995 to May 1997. Håkan then served as Marketing Manager – Digital News Papers at Teracom AB from August 1994 to August 1995.

Håkan Bäckström has a degree in Internationel Management of Production from Chalmers University of Technology and a Master of Science in Industrial Economics from Luleå University of Technology.
