Claire Abu-Assal has relevant work experience in the field of software engineering. Claire started their career at IBM in 2017 as a Cognitive Software Engineer. In this role, they designed, developed, and trained neural networks for NLP problems in pharmacovigilance. Claire also developed a microservice with a RESTful API and neural network backend to determine the seriousness of adverse events. Furthermore, Claire implemented an automatic tuning module to optimize network structure and hyperparameters.

After working at IBM, Claire joined Second Measure in 2018 as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they built a pipeline orchestration system using AWS and Kubernetes, improving the reliability and speed of customer data delivery. Claire implemented data corrections and transformations in Spark and Scala, enabling new insights for both the data team and customers.
