Nam Nguyen, Ph.D., is a skilled software engineer currently employed at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, focusing on the design and development of firmware and networking software for AI-driven supercomputing solutions. Previously, Nam served as the Fr CTO at Trainizi, where efforts were concentrated on creating an AI education platform for deskless workers, and as an instructor at Network to Code, developing content for network automation using Python. Nam's academic background includes positions as an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and as a graduate research assistant at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where research encompassed big data, IoT, and Natural Language Processing, resulting in six peer-reviewed publications. Early career experience includes roles as a senior ICT safety and security engineer and network team lead in the oil and gas sector, focusing on network infrastructure and security management. Nam holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Computer Science from UMass Boston.
