Hang Tan serves as the Hybrid Cloud Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise since November 2019, focusing on corporate and business unit strategy, venture capital, and cost transformation. Prior to this, Tan was a Partner at Bain & Company from September 2009 to November 2019, specializing in corporate strategy, R&D, and M&A diligence within the technology sector. Earlier experience includes roles as Program Manager and Software Design Engineer at Microsoft, where responsibilities included project management and R&D team building, and various design engineering internships at reputable firms while completing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Hang Tan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
