Gautier DI FOLCO has a wide range of work experience, beginning with their internship at LPS Lyon (Laboratoire de Police Scientifique) in 2011, where they served as a Software Development Engineer in RH and JavaScript (jQuery). Gautier then interned at Steria in 2012 as a Software Development Engineer in Java (Swing). In 2013, they interned at Alstom Grid as a Software Development Engineer in RH and Systems Administrator, and at Cod'INSA as a Key Software Development Engineer and Systems Administrator. In 2014, Gautier worked at Gemalto as a Software Engineer, and at CITI Lab as a Software Development Engineer in Haskell and JavaScript. From 2017 to 2018, Gautier worked at Stormshield as a Software Engineer, and at Epitech as an Occasional Haskell Teacher. Finally, Gautier has been working at Hetchr since 2020, where they have held the roles of Chief Technical Officer, Lead Software Engineer, and Key Haskell Developer. In these roles, they have developed a microservice-based architecture, created an automated infrastructure, provided insights on developers' needs, and treated users' feedback.

Gautier DI FOLCO completed their Ingénieur en Informatique (master of science in engineering) in Computer Science from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon between 2011 and 2014. Gautier also obtained a Master 2 Recherche en Réseaux, Télécoms et Services (one-year degree before post-graduate studies) from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in 2013-2014. Gautier completed their BTS (2 years technical degree) in Informatique de Gestion option développeur d'Applications (Computer Science / Software Development) from Institution des Chartreux in 2009-2011. Gautier is currently pursuing a SOC Analyst degree from CyberUniversity, which they are expected to complete in 2022-2023.
