Niloofar Sarshar has a diverse work experience in the hospitality industry. Niloofar started their career at Pollys Pies as a Server/Management Support from 2009 to 2013. Niloofar then joined Cal Poly Pomona in 2013, where they worked as an Assistant to Culinary Laboratory Coordinator for a few months before becoming a Culinary Laboratory Coordinator. In this role, they supported restaurant, laboratory course, and special event operations. Niloofar also managed inventory, supervised student assistants, and oversaw kitchen equipment maintenance.
In 2017, Niloofar joined Hestan Commercial Corporation as a Home Economist. Niloofar worked in this role until 2021, where they engaged with consumers, managed social media influencers, and collaborated with internal and external teams on marketing assets. Niloofar then became a Culinary Marketing Manager until 2023, responsible for customer insights reporting and marketing campaign execution. Currently, they are working as an Adjunct Lecturer at The Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona, starting in 2023.
Niloofar Sarshar obtained their Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2009. In the same year, they also obtained a ServSafe Certification from the National Restaurant Association. From 2009 to 2013, they pursued their Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Subsequently, they pursued their Graduate degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in MBA, at Chapman University from 2016 to 2018.
