Samuel Savarimuthu is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a robust background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Hess Corporation since August 2019, Samuel has previously held senior positions at BLACKSTONE PROCESS SOLUTIONS SDN BHD, where involvement in the WHP Optimization Project and various FEED engineering projects occurred. Prior experience includes roles at GlobalTech Systems Engineering Pte Ltd, SapuraKencana Petroleum, Kencana Petroleum, Solar Turbines, and University Tenaga Nasional, with expertise spanning rotating equipment, gas turbines, compressors, and heavy machinery for offshore oil rigs. Samuel obtained a degree from Universiti Tenaga Nasional and began a professional journey as a Product Engineer at Dyson Manufacturing.
