Felix Zou has worked in the software industry since 2011. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at Honeywell as both a Senior Firmware Engineer and an Embedded Software Team Leader. During their time there, they were responsible for developing Industrial Products such as PLC, RTU, DCS, transmitters, and Data Concentrators. Felix'stasks included Firmware Architecture, Configuration, Control, Communication, Topology, Diagnostic, Redundancy, and Security. In 2018, they joined Hesai Technology as a Software Team Leader. Felix was responsible for developing LiDAR related software and mass production automation software. Felix used programming languages such as C/C++, Python, QT, Linux, UART, SPI, Ethernet, and OpenCV.

Felix Zou obtained a Bachelor degree in Automation from Qingdao University in 2007. Felix then went on to pursue a Master degree in control science and technology from Tongji University, which they completed in 2010. In the same year, they obtained a Master degree in Information and electronics from Technical University of Munich. Additionally, they have a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Honeywell.
