Varun Ghorpade is a Senior Data Governance Specialist at Hertz since June 2023, with prior experience as a Data Governance Specialist at JRI America Inc. from August 2020 to June 2023, where involvement in a Collibra POC project as a PMO was notable. Varun has also held positions as a Business Intelligence Developer at TLI Group, focusing on data extraction for a smart electric meter project, and as a Finance Data Analyst at Kerry, where finance data models were developed using Power BI and SAP. Earlier experience includes work as a Data Analyst and Associate Engineer at UTC Climate, Controls & Security, utilizing tools such as Tableau, R, and SQL to analyze IoT data for decision-making. Varun holds a Master of Science in Data Analytics from the National College of Ireland and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai.
