Sean Ferrie has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sean started their career as a Cricket Coach, working with different age groups and squads. Sean then joined Waitrose as an Assistant Manager, overseeing multiple sections and managing a team of over 50 Partners. Sean's leadership skills were recognized, and they were selected for the John Lewis Retail Management Graduate Scheme. During this time, they worked on business-wide projects and presented proposals to senior executives. Sean later joined John Lewis & Partners as a Team Manager and subsequently as an Operations Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for branch performance and implementing changes. Sean also worked at Frosts Garden Centre Ltd as a General Manager, where they oversaw all aspects of the center's operations. Currently, Sean is serving as the Director of Operations at Hertfordshire Students' Union, where they lead the Events & Marketing departments and manages commercial activities while collaborating with university departments to enhance student experiences. Throughout their career, Sean has demonstrated strong people management and leadership skills.
Sean Ferrie received a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History from the University of Glasgow, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2018, they obtained a Food Safety Manager Certification (FSMC) from Highfield.
