Robert Purcell is a seasoned professional in project management and facilities operations, currently serving as Project Director at Herrero Builders since July 2007, where leadership of the Integrated Design and Project Management for the Sutter Health Van Ness and Geary Hospital Project has been a key achievement. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Director of Project Management at the Medical Center at the University of California, San Francisco, overseeing $150 million in annual capital programs and managing a team of 17. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Project Manager for UCSF Capital Project Management, where Robert managed numerous bioscience research laboratories and healthcare facilities, as well as serving as Facilities Manager for the Medical Center at UCSF, responsible for operations and construction programs in a 560-bed hospital. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara and a Master's in Healthcare Administration from the University of San Francisco.
