Mila Tshaka is an accomplished data analyst currently employed at Herotel since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mila held positions at Burgiss as a Level 2 Hedge Fund Analyst and Financial Data Analyst from October 2020 to May 2023. Mila's earlier experience includes a Technical and Training Assistant position at Stellenbosch University and a Vice President role at the UCT Consulting Club. Additionally, Mila served as Vice Chairperson of the UCT Humanities Students’ Council, where leadership during a politically volatile period was notable. Mila began their career as a waiter at Ignite Events in late 2015. Academically, Mila earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Cape Town, a BCom(Honours) in Economics from Stellenbosch University, and participated in the African University Leadership Exchange Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on Organizational Leadership, Business and Entrepreneurship. The educational journey was preceded by a National Senior Certificate in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics from the Centre of Science and Technology.
