Patrick Taylor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fire services and management, currently serving as the Deputy Fire Chief at Hernando County Government since May 1992. Patrick has held various leadership roles including Division Chief of Administration, Operations, and Professional Standards, and Battalion Chief, overseeing firefighting shifts and managing departmental operations. Prior experience includes serving as a Field Representative for the State of Florida where management of advanced certification applications for Fire Officers was a key responsibility. In previous roles at Duke Energy Corporation and the State of Florida, responsibilities ranged from safety technician tasks to management of examination records. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Administration and multiple associate degrees, including in Fire Science and Emergency Medical Technology.
