Phillip Malloy has held a variety of engineering roles since 2011. Phillip began their career as a College Lacrosse player at Centre College in 2011. In 2018, they joined GE Power as a Turbomachinery Development Engineer, a Compressor Blade Design Engineer, and a Repair Process Development Engineer. In 2020, they moved to SpaceX as a Turbomachinery Development Engineer and a Propulsion Manufacturing Engineer. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Hermeus as a Lead Powertrain & Turbomachinery Engineer and a Senior Propulsion Engineer.
Phillip Malloy attended Centre College from 2011 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Physics. Phillip then attended the University of Kentucky from 2015 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2020, earning a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering.
