Chris Maston has a diverse work experience in the field of flight test engineering. Chris started their career in 2004 in the United States Air Force as an Experimental Test Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO) and served until 2017. In 2017, they joined the Georgia Tech Research Institute where they worked as a Lead Flight Test Engineer until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Manager - Flight Test Engineering in the Electronic Systems Lab at the same institute. In 2022, Chris took on the role of a Senior Flight Test Engineer in the Aerospace, Transportation & Advanced Systems (ATAS) Lab at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Additionally, they started working as an Adjunct Professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2023. Recently, Chris joined Hermeus in 2023 as the Principal Flight Test Engineer.
Chris Maston was enrolled at the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. From 2007 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Engineering Management at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Additionally, in 2010-2011, they attended the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School and completed their Master of Science in Flight Test Engineering.
