Leeann Taptich DPT, SCS, MTC, CSCS serves as the Lead Physical Therapist of Sports Medicine at Henry Ford Health System since May 2016, where responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive sports medicine program across multiple outpatient rehabilitation sites, creating Return to Play testing protocols, and enhancing educational opportunities for staff. Additionally, Leeann is a co-author and faculty member with Herman & Wallace Inc., contributing to specialized courses on breathing and the diaphragm. Previous experience includes a role as Clinical Specialist of Physical Therapy at Detroit Medical Center, focusing on advanced sports rehabilitation, mentoring, community outreach, and enhancing operational efficiency. Leeann holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Michigan State University.
