Neil Sime holds a diverse range of leadership roles within the railway industry, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. Currently serving as the Chair of the Operations & Safety Committee for the Heritage Railway Association since March 2022, Neil is dedicated to enhancing safety culture across the sector. In addition, Neil has been the Safety Director at the Kent & East Sussex Railway since December 2018, where involvement dates back to a long-standing membership in the Operating Department. Since February 2003, Neil has contributed as a Non Executive Director to the Railfreight Group, and has held the position of Managing Director at VICTA RAILFREIGHT LTD since September 1995.
