Simon Bakker is an experienced EPC and construction manager at GroenLeven Solar Energy since May 2021, specializing in solar energy projects. Additionally, Bakker serves as the owner of SOS Hydrauliek en Techniek, providing expertise for short-term projects and having held roles as First Engineer at Subsea 7 in the windmill industry. Prior experience includes hydraulic engineering at Seadrill and Songa Drilling, as well as serving as First Engineer on deck pipelay vessels at Allseas. Early career roles included marine engineering at Jumbo Shipping and Ballast Nedam/Van Oord in the dredging industry. Simon Bakker holds a Bachelor of Science in Chief Engineer all Ships from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and an A degree in marine engineering from MSvS.
