Richard Sitler is a seasoned photojournalist with extensive experience in editorial and documentary photography. Currently serving as Photo Editor at The Herald Bulletin since November 2022, Richard previously held roles including Senior Photographer at The Journal Gazette and Photographer at Alliance magazine. Richard's freelance work spans various photography disciplines, including sports and documentary, with a notable history of contract photography for MARK JOLESCH ENTERPRISES, LTD. and contributions to The Southern Illinoisan. Richard’s educational background includes a BA in History from Blackburn College, a Master's in Design and Visual Communications from Ohio University, and a BA in History from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
