Hamra Ahmad currently serves as the Director of Law and Policy at Their Justice, a position held since March 2017. Ahmad has also contributed as Co-Chair of the Public Interest Pro Bono Association from September 2019 to August 2021, enhancing pro bono programs in the New York City metropolitan area. Previous roles include Executive Director at Hudson Valley Justice Center (March 2015 - March 2017), Director and Managing Attorney at My Sisters' Place (October 2005 - April 2015), and Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis (October 2000 - May 2002). Ahmad earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School (1997 - 2000) and a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
