Anne Stephenson has over 14 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Anne is currently working at Sosei Heptares as a Senior scientist II, a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Scientist at Sosei Heptares from March 2018 to January 2022. Before joining Sosei Heptares, Anne worked at Takeda Cambridge for 7 years, starting as an Associate Scientist in July 2009 and eventually becoming a Research Scientist. During their time at Takeda Cambridge, Anne gained experience in designing and synthesizing high purity compounds in various disease areas such as CNS, GI, pain, and metabolic diseases, with a focus on GPCRs and ion channel receptor types. Anne began their career as an Industrial Placement Student at AstraZeneca in September 2007.

Anne Stephenson attended the University of Nottingham from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained an MSci degree in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry.
