Jakob Albrecht is an experienced Chief Engineer at HENSOLDT, specializing in the OMNI InfraRed Surveillance product family within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS). With a strong background in algorithm development and systems engineering, Jakob has held various roles, including Technical Manager for an infrared electronic warfare system and Systems Engineer for electronic warfare infrared systems and dual-color infrared missile warning systems. Previous positions include work as a systems engineer and signal processing/control engineer at Airbus DS and EADS, focusing on algorithms and performance simulations. Jakob holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Information Technology from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Technology from Technische Hochschule Ulm, complemented by a Diplom in Electrical Engineering from Ulm University.
