Kimberlydawn Wisdom is the Senior Vice President of Community Health & Equity and Chief Wellness & Diversity Officer at Henry Ford Health System, a position held since April 2007. Additionally, Kimberlydawn serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan Health System since July 1988. Kimberlydawn previously fulfilled the role of State Surgeon General for the State of Michigan from March 2003 to December 2010 and was a Senior Staff Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Health System from August 1985 to February 2003. Academically, Kimberlydawn earned a Master of Science in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis from the University of Michigan School of Public Health between 1989 and 1991 and obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Michigan from 1978 to 1982.
