Alan Jackson is a seasoned professional in radiation safety with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Senior Health Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer at Henry Ford Health System since July 1998, Alan manages the Radiation Safety Program and prepares essential licensing and technical documents. Previously, Alan worked as a Health Physicist at the University of Michigan from 1990 to 1998, providing radiation safety services across various facilities and supervising quality assurance for radiation measurement devices. Earlier in career, Alan was a Radiation Safety Specialist at the University of Virginia from 1987 to 1990, overseeing the radiation safety program for a major medical center and multiple research laboratories. Alan holds a Master's degree in Radiological Health and a Bachelor of Science degree, both from the University of Michigan.
