Mary Martinez began their work experience as a Sales Associate at Spirit Halloween in August 2009. Mary then worked as an Author at Textbroker International from November 2009 to December 2020. In June 2010, Mary served as a Production Associate at Goodwill Industries International until March 2012. Mary also worked as a Copy Editor at Aerotek from June 2010 to September 2011. Mary later joined Randstad in October 2011 as a Proofreader, where they worked until April 2017. From April 2017 to July 2020, they served as a Quality Assurance Coordinator at Essendant. Currently, Mary is working as a Content Editor at Hennessey Digital.

Mary Martinez earned an Associate's degree in Arts from Harper College, which they attended from 2006 to 2008. Mary later pursued a Bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis on writing from North Central College, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Mary obtained several certifications in various subjects through LinkedIn, including coaching skills, content marketing, continuous improvement, presentations, press release writing, conversion copywriting, SEO content writing, project management foundations, and public speaking. Mary obtained these certifications in March 2023.
