Carole Addison-Goyne, MBA has a diverse work experience within the aromatherapy industry. From 1997 to 2001, they served as the Senior Instructor at the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy and the General Manager at Original Swiss Aromatics. During this time, they also co-owned Vertigris Ventures, providing consultation services such as essential oil distillation, private label personal care products and customized natural perfumery. From 2002 to 2018, they were the District Manager at Aveda, managing sales, operations, education, human resources, guest service, team morale and events for corporately owned Aveda Experience Centers throughout the Northwest region. In 2018, they became the Founder and CEO of Nomad Botanicals, building an aromatherapy lifestyle brand whose products have an emphasis on pristine quality. In 2019, they joined the Board of Directors at Henhouse Brewing Company.

Carole Addison-Goyne obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership from Sonoma State University between 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Arts and Humanities/German from Colorado State University between 1991 and 2005.
