Dr. Moritz Evertz is a senior associate at Hengeler Mueller, specializing in corporate and M&A law since October 2018. Dr. Evertz holds a legal Ph.D. from the University of Cologne and a diploma from the Executive School at Universität St.Gallen. Prior experience includes roles as a foreign associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, and various legal trainee positions at institutions such as the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, and the Cologne Public Prosecutor's Office. Dr. Evertz began their legal career as a research associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and served as a student research assistant at the Institute for Roman Law and Comparative Law at Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
