Dustin Shoulders is an accomplished race engineer currently working with the Hendrick #9 team at Hendrick Motorsports, leveraging experience gained since January 2016. Prior to this role, Dustin served as an adjunct professor for a Statics I course at Ivy Tech Community College and undertook internships specializing in hydraulic and software control systems at Allison Transmission. A substantial engineering background includes positions as a product engineer and metal fabricator at Creative Sources, where Dustin designed and modeled hydraulic lifts for race cars, along with manufacturing engineering experience at Crown Equipment Corporation that involved designing an electrical test cabinet and performing tolerance stack analysis. Earlier experience as a chassis design engineer at Drinan Industries focused on designing front suspension components for race cars. Dustin holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
