Magnus Axelsson has held various roles throughout their work experience. Magnus began their career at Retention as an Analyst from 2001 to 2002. Magnus then joined DirektMedia in 2002 as the Head of the Analysis Department, where they were responsible for managing a team and overseeing analytical tools and commercial progress. In 2007, they joined Ellos AB as a Customer Recruitment Manager and later transitioned to the role of Customer & Market Intelligence Manager, where they focused on identifying, analyzing, and disseminating insights about Ellos Group's customers. In 2014, they joined Ellos Group as a Customer & Market Intelligence Manager, continuing their responsibilities of building and enriching the company's CRM. Currently, Magnus Axelsson is the Head of CRM & Campaign at Hemtex AB, starting in August 2021.

Magnus Axelsson completed their education from 1995 to 1999 at the University of Borås. During this time, they obtained a degree in Magisterexamep i Företagsekonomi with a specialization in Marknadsföring.
