David Bartels is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in real estate asset management. Currently serving as a Senior Property Accountant at Hempel since January 2016, David manages the accounting for a diverse portfolio including over 200 residential units, retail and office buildings totaling more than 200,000 square feet, and land holdings exceeding 40 acres. Prior to this role, David worked as a Real Estate Accounting Assistant at Colliers from September 2012 to January 2016, where responsibilities included lease processing, rent calculations, and financial reporting for a single property. Additionally, David held the position of Assistant Real Estate Manager at Colliers, supporting the management of commercial real estate portfolios totaling over 2,000,000 square feet. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Economics from the University of St. Thomas.
