Dana Paine is a dedicated research assistant currently employed at HematoLogics Inc. since September 2017, and serves as a Public Scholarship Fellow at Carleton College's Center for Civic and Community Engagement since August 2016. Dana has collaborated with faculty to promote public scholarship, coordinated related events, and produced content for articles and social media. Previous experiences include roles as an Undergraduate Pipeline Network Scholar at the University of New Mexico, where research on neurotropic factors and hippocampal development was conducted, a teaching assistant at Carleton College, and participation in cancer research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dana holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Washington, earned in 2023, and a degree from Carleton College awarded in 2017.
