Jay Jayasuriya has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Jay started their career in 2004 as a Systems Engineer at Camelot Management Inc in Houston, Texas, where they were responsible for inspecting, tuning, and troubleshooting IT equipment.

In 2005, Jay joined Creations Pvt Ltd as the Head of Information Technology and Finance.

From 2006 to 2012, they worked as an Information Technology Project Manager at the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka. During their time there, they conceptualized, procured, and managed large-scale IT systems and infrastructure initiatives for the Sri Lankan government.

In 2014, Jay joined Hemanext as the Director of Information Technology. Jay played a critical role in managing enterprise networks, cyber security, IT systems, and cloud infrastructure. Jay also helped the organization transition from R&D and clinical operations to commercial operations.

Overall, Jay Jayasuriya has demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure management, project management, and leadership roles in both government and private sectors.

Jay Jayasuriya has a Master of Science - MS degree in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, which they obtained from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Systems Management from The City University of New York between 2000 and 2004. Jayasuriya also holds a High School Diploma in Accounting and Commerce from Nalanda College Colombo, which they received from 1984 to 1997.
