Umur Sen is an experienced Artificial Intelligence Research Engineer currently working at Helsing since December 2021. Prior to this role, Umur served as a Machine Learning Engineer at ViroLogic, where models for predicting vital signs from face videos and migraine attack notifications were developed. Previous positions include Machine Learning Engineer and Software Engineer at ParkHere GmbH, and Software Engineer at Valensas, where a RESTful Spring Boot Java backend system was created. Umur has also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Developer at AppliedAI.com, where a RESTful Django backend was developed, and held positions as a Backend Engineer at hubiwork and an intern at Akbank. Education includes a Master of Science in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Koç University.
