Ahmet Faruk Tuna is an AI Research Engineer at Helsing since September 2022, focusing on applying AI to support democratic processes. Previously, Tuna served as a Data Scientist at Big Data in Manufacturing GmbH from July 2021 to August 2022 and worked as a Research Engineer in Autonomous Driving and Visual SLAM at Huawei, where key research topics included semantic segmentation, monocular depth estimation, and domain adaptation. Early career experiences include roles as a Werkstudent at Rohde & Schwarz, Automation W+R GmbH, and Fortiss, along with a position as a lead tutor in digital technology at Technische Universität München. Ahmet Faruk Tuna holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution, alongside a Diplom- und Reifeprüfung in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from HTBLVA Anichstraße, Innsbruck.
