Bjørn Østeng has over 20 years of work experience in various financial roles. Bjørn started their career at Raufoss Technology AS as a Controller from 1995 to 1998. Bjørn then moved on to Nammo Raufoss AS and Raufoss ASA, where they served as a Financial Manager from 1998 to 2001. Following that, they joined KPMG Norway as a Senior Manager for a year. Since 2002, Bjørn has been working at Helse Sør-Øst RHF as the Director of Financial Accounting and Reporting.

Bjørn Østeng attended BI Norwegian Business School but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study.
