Furqan Opel is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Global HR Manager at HelpAge International since October 2021, where responsibilities include leading humanitarian HR efforts for the Ukraine Humanitarian Response and supporting HR activities across multiple regions. Prior roles include International HR Consultant with a focus on change management and HR policy development, as well as extensive experience at Oxfam GB in various capacities, such as Human Resource Business Partner and HR Manager, where strategic HR support and recruitment initiatives were implemented during significant humanitarian responses. Furqan also has a solid foundation in HR and administration from SZABIST as an Executive Officer. Educational qualifications include an MBA in HR from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology.
