Kamyar Hadian is the Deputy Director of the Research Unit Signaling and Translation at Helmholtz Munich, where responsibilities include leading research on ferroptosis and ubiquitin signaling, as well as supervising drug discovery projects. With a comprehensive background in chemical biology, Kamyar has held roles such as Director of the Compound Screening Platform and Group Leader in various capacities focused on assay development and drug discovery. Kamyar's research experience extends to postdoctoral fellowships investigating NF-κB signaling and HIV-host interactions, alongside a research sabbatical at Columbia University that initiated collaboration on ferroptosis research. Kamyar earned a Master's degree in Biology from the Technical University of Munich and a PhD in HIV research from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
