Richard Shapiro is an experienced attorney currently serving as the Chair of the family law department at Helmer, Conley & Kasselman, P.A. since August 2015, focusing on divorce, child custody, and support matters for a diverse clientele. Prior to this role, Richard Shapiro provided legal counsel to the Camden County Surrogate on probate and estate issues from 2012 to 2015. Richard Shapiro also practiced law at Shapiro & Shapiro from 1984 until 2015, with a concentration on family law, corporate planning, and construction law. Additionally, Richard Shapiro served as General Legal Counsel for Camden County College for nearly three decades and was the past chair of the Cherry Hill Democratic Party for two decades. Richard Shapiro holds a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Brandeis University.
