Jay Berard is the founder and CEO of Jagger, a company that provides the world with a network to interact based on solely positive, inspirational, and meaningful content. Jay has also spoken alongside 6 time Olympic medalist Clara Hughes on behalf of the Canadian Mental Health Association as a part of Clara’s Big Ride and Bell Let’s Talk.

Jay founded Posi (Acquired) in 2013 alongside their best friend while they were in their last semester at university. They launched an iOS application (Posi) that provided the world with a network to interact based on solely positive, inspirational, and meaningful content. Jay built it to help people focus on the more positive aspects of their lives with the vision of changing the world of social media. Jay wanted to change how we connected with people and how we perceived others based on their social profiles. More than just an app, they launched an apparel line and e-commerce platform that benefitted charity based on a percentage of sales. To communicate the mission and vision, they launched an Inspirational speaking campaign in Junior High and High schools. This was an incredibly successful venture.

Jay Berard has accomplished a lot in their career so far. Jay has incorporated during my last term of University, built an incredible team, debuted 24th on the app store in free social networking, leveraged a social media marketing campaign to get Television, Radio, and both Canada and US newspaper features, organized strategic partnerships with Canadian and American corporations, VC meetings in San Francisco, celebrity interest in LA for Posi 2.0, launched our inspirational speaking campaign for schools in Winnipeg that garnered incredible response and attention, spoke alongside 6 time Olympic medalist Clara Hughes on behalf of the Canadian Mental Health Association as a part of Clara’s Big Ride and Bell Let’s Talk, made A LOT of mistakes but learned from every one, acquired thousands of users across 45 countries, built an e-commerce platform and donated proceeds to charity, organized creative PR campaigns such as Reverse Panhandling and Un-Free Hugs, sold the company to an international buyer, changed people's lives - The most rewarding part of the entire journey.

Jay Berard received a Bachelor's of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Manitoba in Finance and Marketing.
