Karel vanBeekom is the Director of Information Technology at Alma since October 2022, where the focus is on developing the internal IT program to enhance support for members and clients in accessing mental health care. Prior to joining Alma, Karel served as the IT Manager at Justworks from September 2017 to October 2022, significantly expanding IT operations and promoting scalable, secure solutions. Karel's earlier experience includes roles at Pivotal Software, Inc. as a Senior IT Support Engineer and IT Support Engineer, and over six years at Apple in various capacities, including technical training and support. Karel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Western Michigan University and studied at Interlochen Arts Academy.
