Rachel Cargill has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2013, they worked as a Summer Staff member at Logan Valley Christian Retreat, where they assisted with cooking, facility maintenance, and interacting with campers. From 2014 to 2016, Rachel held various roles at Pine Cove, including Camper Engagement Administrator and Cook/Lifeguard, where they managed camper profiles, assisted with work crew duties, and served meals. At Western Kentucky University, they worked as a Student Office Assistant and Fan Experience Assistant, providing customer service at basketball games and campus events. In 2016, Rachel interned at Barefoot Republic Camp & Retreat Center, gaining event planning experience and assisting with office tasks. Rachel also served as a Republic Leader, overseeing a group of girls and leading them in bible study and activities. Starting in 2016, Rachel took on multiple roles at Black Diamond Camp, including Recruiter & Hiring Coordinator and Marketing & Retreat Guide, where they recruited staff, conducted interviews, built relationships with communities, and assisted with retreat hosting and marketing. Rachel Cargill attended Western Kentucky University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration with a field of study in Recreation Administration. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in June 2021.
