Giorgos Petousis is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in leading procurement teams and managing substantial spend portfolios across various industries. Currently serving as Procurement Director at Hellenic Halyvourgia S.A. since March 2024, Giorgos previously held the same position at SIDENOR steel industry from September 2022 to December 2023, overseeing a €240 million spend across seven plants in three countries. Giorgos's earlier career at Holcim included roles such as Head of Procurement and Head of CAPEX & New Projects, where responsibilities encompassed managing procurement teams and significant capital investment portfolios. Giorgos's educational background includes a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MBA from Alba Graduate Business School.
