Shanna Brown has extensive experience in human resources, starting in 1992 as a Human Resources Manager for Livephonecard.com. Shanna then went on to work as a Human Resources Manager for eAssist Global Solutions, where they assisted in creating and developing the HR department. Shanna also served as a Human Resources Manager for Epsilon Systems Solutions, overseeing all aspects of HR for a national government contracting company.
From 2004 to 2007, they worked as a Human Resources Manager for Ambrx, co-managing the HR function and overseeing compensation, benefits, and stock option plans. Shanna then worked as an HR Consultant for Alcock & McFadden Employment Consultants, providing HR expertise to various clients.
From 2010 to 2015, Shanna held the role of Vice President Human Resources at Vistage International, overseeing all aspects of HR and serving as a key advisor to senior leaders. Most recently, they have been working as the Director of Human Resources at HELIX Environmental Planning, where they are responsible for the strategy and management of the HR department.
Throughout their career, Shanna has demonstrated strong skills in talent strategy, employee engagement, performance management, compensation, employee development, benefits, compliance, safety, and employee relations. Shanna is known for creating progressive environments by facilitating open and continuous communication among stakeholders.
Shanna Brown has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Loyola Marymount University, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. In 1996 to 1998, they earned a Certificate in Human Resources Management from UC San Diego. Later, in 2000 to 2001, Shanna obtained a Human Resources Management Certificate from UC San Diego.
In terms of additional certifications, Shanna acquired the Interview Architect: Behavioral Competency Interviewing certification from Lominger Korn/Ferry in August 2014. Shanna also earned the Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment Analysis certification from Predictive Synergistic Systems in May 2013.
