Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with extensive expertise in developing collaborative solutions, particularly in the realm of interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris has contributed to hardware development and firmware engineering for DViT technology. Prior roles include electronics contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on educational devices, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, responsible for circuit design and control systems in forestry machinery. Additionally, experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary provided a foundation in academic support. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
